This April, he and Colleen will revisit the "merry war" of Benedick and Beatrice in Forward Theater’s world premiere of Lauren Gunderson’s Lady Disdain. A proud veteran of the United States Army, David is a passionate advocate for sharing the arts with the veteran community. • Casey Hoekstra

    Assistant Director

Casey Hoekstra is grateful to be working on his very first show with Two Crows! He spends most of his time as an actor, on the opposite side of the directing table, and this has been an amazing opportunity to appreciate the process of creating a show from a 180 degree angle. He's thankful for Marcus for bringing him on board and making space at the table, thankful to Nate and Neil for their incredible creativity and generative generosity, and thankful to Alexandra for late night talks and early morning talks over coffee. David Daniel, you're a wizard: thanks for gifting us the world. To all the designers, thanks for making it a reality. Most of the time Casey plays pretend for money. He went to the U of M Guthrie Program for the piece of paper that says he can, indeed, pretend.
